Do you ever surf the "Random Deviant" button? I sometimes do it to widen my path a bit. Todays selection was an older fellow that last posted photographs in 2010. He titled the shot in a way that made it clear the person, his sister, was no longer alive. Then everything fell silent........ No log entries, no added favorites that were newer, no more pictures. In the lower right were Happy Birthday wishes from DA friends in 2011 and 2012. The last return thanks was is 2010. What happened? He might be very alive, but his muse died. Our muse is often the first of ourselves to die. As the old saying goes, the lights are on but there is no one home

Well, I've added a few more Favorites and requested and was accepted into three groups. I also upgraded my membership to ...... ?... Premium, I guess. Nothing is different so far, but I imagine it takes awhile before it becomes active. These first three groups that I have joined are BDSM related. Fetish and BDSM do not define me completely, but I had to start somewhere, so I picked the most provocative aspect of my "Likes".

I am trying to choose those "Favorite" images then lend themselves to stories or are so beautifully done that they can stand alone. I know, that is very subjective, but that's a good thing. I like the facial expression to fit the scene and that is where I feel a lot of shots fall short. I wish to see the beauty attached and related to it's surrounding. A smile while being flogged, says incongruity to me, .... most of the time. We shall see.... and hopefully tell. Peace. ~hottwax
